Food Prep!

Good Morning! I wanted to post today about my weekly (weekend) habit: Food Prep!  I have a love/hate relationship with cooking. I love to cook, but I hate to come home after a long day of work and have to cook.  A while back, I decided that I would devote time on either Saturday or Sunday (right after shopping) and cut up vegetables/meats/fruits for the upcoming week so we can just grab and go or make a quick dinner.   When I first started doing this, it was before I knew about Norwex products and it would take me about 4 hours of precious weekend time, because I would have to pull out the chemical cleaners multiple times throughout my prep now I am down to just 2 hours!  My Norwex products have cut my time in half!!

My Norwex prep must haves are:

1) Dish Cloths/Towels/Enviro (any of these work, as they have the BacLock and clean the surface throughout the process) I usually have a couple on hand

2) Fruit and Veggie Wash! I love this stuff, it is completely chemical free and a quick rinse in this makes my Fruits and Veggies not only clean but they last so much longer!

3) Fruit and Veggie Scrub Cloth, I love having this on hand to give my stuff a great scrub down to get all the dirt and pesticides off!  With all of the stuff I have read about cantaloupe and other fruits with peels I feel completely safe after a good scrub down from my trusty Fruit and Veggie Scrub Cloth and a bath in the Fruit and Veggie Wash.

Also, I am posting photos of one of my finished products.

What my new rule of thumb is when I get home from the grocery store I prep all of the fruits/veggies/meats before I put it away.  In the past I have wasted so much food because I would put it in the fridge and forget about it or just be to lazy to make a meal after work.  Now that I have incorporated food prep into my routine I haven't let food go to waste and it has saved me time, money and hassle.
